Hi,
many cans nowadays are internally lined with some kind of plastic paint in order to preserve food "better" avoiding the food to take a metallic flavor.
Has anyone ever used these types of cans to build rocket stoves? Is it advisable to do it?
Alternatively is there an easy way to get rid of the lining?

Most cans have some sort of lining. I think the linings would burn off in a fire.

Or, I suppose you could use a heat gun (used for stripping paint) to flake off the lining and send it to a landfill.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
