Purchased 6inch RMH Plans - Question about condensation

On Ernie & Erica's 6inch RMH Plan there does not seem to be anything about where the condensation moisture drains to. The pictures show an exhaust that extends straight up to the roof and the text states that one should follow the roof-kit instructions but nothing is said about the where the horizontal pipe attaches to the vertical. The pictures show a tee. Does the water drain to the closed end of the tee until it gets boiled away? It is supposed to be cleaned out (drained)? I wouldn't want to drown my dragon...
I'm buying the barrel today, construction of outdoor mock up begins next week.
