I found a tree in The Amazon jungle goe that is producing pods all The time. Do anybody know The name of The plant, are The seeds edible?

I think that is a Caesalpinia pulcherrima, commonly called a peacock flower, red bird of paradise, Mexican bird of paradise, dwarf poinciana, pride of Barbados, flos pavonis, and flamboyant-de-jardin.

All the seeds are poisonous.

Wikipedia has some information on other use.

this tree is not uncommon for urban plantings here in Brazil. Along with the seeds not being edible, it has a latex-type sap that can be a skin irritant, so definitely be careful with this one.
Like the names of any plant here, it has a gazillion names but two are hysterical- cockroach wing and cockroach beard.
