Raising Black Jersey Giant Chickens Naturally

I have finally ventured into becoming a chicken daddy.

I got Black Jersey Giants and so far they have been awesome!

They really are gentle giants so far. They don't peck each other and are very friendly and relaxed.

They are growing extremely fast and are almost twice the size of the Black Australorps I got at the same time. The really nice thing about their quick growth has been that it seems like they are more resistant to issues that affect small chicks.

They are a little over a week old and I have taken them outside a few times, and they seem to be pretty good at searching for food and have had fun running and scratching around.

Is anyone else raising them or raised them in the past?
