Yeah. I've noticed on Craig's List (Spokane) that many people are down sizing herds/flocks before the really cold weather hits.
In the spring/summer, everybody was offering weaner pigs for $80-$100. Now that the stark realization of buying 6 months of
feed has set in, weaner pigs are being listed $35-40. (Although, about half of the listings are for 'wiener' pigs. lol)
Lots of goats, sheep, horses, poultry etc being listed this time of the year.
I guess that they aren't quite so cute once you have to start buying them feed.
