My family and I have been searching for a natural farm for some time now. We have developed many skills along the way. We desire deeply to find a community that respects nature, philosophically, as much as Masanobu. We have a post in the intentional community section of this web sit that may illuminate further what we are seeking to find. Please if anyone has and advice or direction it would be largely appreciated.

I hope that you find one: it is wonderful to talk to like-minded people!

I do not know of anybody in my area, and so I try out permaculture on my own land. Last year I got a crop of wheat in my lawn that I grew Fukuoka style, though I did not encase the seed in pellets. Instead I mowed the grass short, and I scattered the seed jut before a big storm. The rain beat the seed down onto the earth and it rooted. True, the city ordered me to cut my "weeds", but by then the wheat was ripe enough to cut and so I did!
