Hello, I've lurked for awhile and posted in a few topics, but never really introduced myself. I'm Eric. I work for a large Ford dealership in SW Missouri doing automatic transmissions. Im a BIG Geoff Lawton fan and HAVE followed all his work, hes inspired me to where I am today. After reading Toby Hemingways Gaias Garden I knew permaculture is the only way I can live from here on out. I purchased 10 acres last december 2012 about 45 minutes from my home and work and my garden last year was pretty dismal from such a commute. BUT! December 1st 2013 I moved out to my land. I live in a tiny house, its actually 99 square feet. It was a shed I picked up for 1000 bucks, Insulated it and sheet rocked it, added a couple solar panels, some led lights and a wood stove. I've never had so little in my life and I've never been so happy. I plan to keep adding to this thread as I progress my work on the land. Feel free to ask questions and leave comments. Anyways, nice to meet yall!
