Hi all
In a normal year, if I said stink bugs invaded us, I would have meant inside the house.
This year, for the first time, they went to the garden instead.
I had asked Liz to grow extra tomatoes this year, lots of Romas and San Marzanos as well as our favorite Brandywines and early girls.
At first, the  stink bugs only infested one Brandywine, but now have spread to almost every tomato plant we have (one dozen)
Liz tried neem oil and diatomaceous earth to no avail.
The stink bugs get tomatoes this year, not us.
I had planned to can as much as possible to make sauce out of later...
Looks like it is canned Costco tomatoes again.

I have forgotten how rough it was to grow tomatoes in the north county.  Every year it was a struggle to keep them alive and get them to ripen before the frost.  While there are things I struggle to grown down here, I just put up over 80 quarts of Roma tomatoes.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
