This is a lovely reminder of why we do what we do! Yes - aimed at beginner gardeners, but a lovely video to share to all the people in your lives who might need to start small:

Which reminds me, my Daughter in Law has a friend who has been struggling with her houseplants, but one of her better successes was green onion bases they stuck in the soil of a plant that had died! It's on my list to start her some small sweet peppers - the leaves are pretty, and it may tolerate her sunny, hot apartment better than some of the other plants she's tried.
