We need to move because of a new job. We have an urban homestead of 2 1/2 acres with lots of wild edibles, wooded flood plain, a fenced organic veggie garden and 17 chickens in a fenced chicken yard with a chicken "coop-de-ville" (a nicely insulated coop built into the garage). I won't post anything else until I know from an admin if it's okay to post more details. TIA.

Elissa, I added our new forum 'Permaculture Real Estate' to your post. Feel free to post more details, price, etc.....I can add a regional forum also if you would like.
You will still have one posting and it will show in multiple forums at the same time.

Thank you, Judith! The property is in NW Ohio so I suppose that Midwest USA would be the appropriate regional forum(?).

I will add the extensive details right away (hopefully I will be able to figure out how to add the photos that I have).

765 Barclay Drive, Toledo, OH 43609 For Sale: $65,000
Please pass this on to anyone who is looking for a seriously great family home for a steal!
This 5-bedroom home sits on a 2 ½ acre lot on the bank of Swan Creek in the middle of Toledo; it feels like a country home with its ½ acre backyard and 2 acres of wooded flood plain. We are actually sad to have to leave this home but we need to move due to a new job out-of-state.
This home has many wonderful features:
• At the end of a dead-end street with nice neighbors; no sidewalk to shovel snow from!
• Long driveway; big garage
• Enclosed front porch
• Fenced yard
• Large living room
• Wood-burning fireplace in “dining” room
• 5 bedrooms, one of which is on the first floor with a half bathroom
• Large kitchen with lots of countertop space and an eating area (big enough for a normal-size table and chairs)
• Sliding glass door in kitchen that leads to a deck
• Playground set and trampoline and merry-go-round in the yard
• 2 large fenced gardens for growing vegetables
• chicken coop built into the side of the garage with a fenced “chicken yard” (you can have our 17 hens if you wish!)
• Large unfinished basement
• Upstairs has 4 bedrooms (one of which is VERY large) and the main bathroom
• The walk-up attic is large and very insulated; could easily be converted to a 6th bedroom

Because we owe more on the mortgage than what the home is listed for, this will have to be a bank-approved “short sale” which means that it will take a few months for the sale to close.

As you can see, the house has hard wood floors. The kitchen has under-floor heating under the ceramic tile. There is a sliding glass door in the kitchen that leads to the deck.
