Long time lurker (started researching permaculture as a middle schooler in the early 2010's), first time poster!

I recently suffered a job loss, which has given me loads of time to plan out my 2026 garden :)
There's lots of exciting changes for my garden plan this year, including: a new location (tons more eastern exposure!!), plans to build an upcycled greenhouse, and experimenting with more root veg. Despite what lead to this early planning binge sesh, I have had a really lovely time planting my "paper garden".

If there are any other visual planners out there, I'd love to see what yall have planned for your 2026 gardens. I'm also open to critique, comment, or questions about my own plan.

My plan doesn't exist yet. We'll see about planning once my multiple seed orders arrive.

Welcome to the posting side of Permies!

Welcome to permies!
I'm always in awe of people who can plan their gardens out (and actually stick to the plan). I like to do more visual hand sketches - usually of bed cross sections - but generally plant in a more 'off the cuff' way as I feel like it.

This is my 'plan' for my new zone one kitchen garden. But it probably won't be like this at all!

Are 'lemon' and 'easter egg' sorts of bell pepper? I like the way you've got herbs and flowers as bed edges - hopefully that will help with insects (goodies and 'baddies').

They're summer squash and radishes, respectively. I do a lot of interplanting to make use of my space and and stack harvesting periods. There's some way to adjust plant life cycles to denote when you're planting what on that software, but I tend to just throw everything together instead. I have yet to take the time to figure out how to use it in the most optimal way XD

The herbs and flowers are always mixed in. I love to look at a garden as much as I enjoy eating one, in addition to welcoming friends and warding off foes.
