Welcome Arthur!
I purchased a copy of your book a couple years ago thru Maine Primitive Skills School owner.....um, I've forgotten his name. But, he and many of his teachers were at The Pathfinder Gathering in southern Ohio and had copies of your book to sell. (You are or were affiliated with them, yes?) They helped me make my first bow drill fire! Anyway, we use your book regularly as part of our homeschool journey. Thanks for the work you put into it.

Welcome Arthur Haines
I hope you are enjoying the Permie's site.
I hope your book has 101 uses for cattails, because I have a lot of them and I really don't know what to do with them.

Thanks folks for the warm wishes. Looking forward to spending some time (virtually) with all of you. And yes, many uses for Typha (cattails). Ktankeyasiniya (take care of yourselves).

Hello Arthur!!! Welcome and hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!!! I am very interested in this topic as I am a newbie at all things related to permaculture, herbalists, biointensive gardening, and sustainability. Just getting started and I sometimes feel like a sponge trying to soak up all info!!

Welcome Arthur. Sounds like the book for me, as I live in the wilds of the Northeast. I'll have to add it to my list to read. Thank you for your research, writing, and passion.

So I ran the winner picker app in the forum software and we have 2 winners.

mary yett
and
Erica Wisner

Congratulations Mary and Erica!

I sent you an email to ask for the email address of the person that first referred you to Permies.com. That person (if qualified) will also get a copy of the book and a permies care package.

no wonder he is so sad, he hasn't seen this tiny ad:
