Hey Permies -
This is a new Norwesco 1550 gallon water tank that just got delivered here at the farm. Newbie question for you all as a first time tank purchaser:
Is the hollow depression area in the upper surface of the tank a problem?  A traveling injury? Or nothing to worry about, will fill out when water is in it??
I probably have a very narrow time window to report if there is a problem, so I appreciate anyone who can weigh in on this and let me know.
Thanks!

The dent appears to be next to the manhole in the top, so you can probably just reach in and push it back out. If it is meant for burial in the ground, the dent may have weakened it enough to be a concern, and should be reported.

I would reach out to the company - even if they don't do something now, they (and you) will have a record of the concern in case it fails at that point later.

Their suggestion would prob be to push it out gently on a hot day.

Thanks to both of you for your quick response!
The plan for the tank is an above ground placement on a 4in pad of sand, beside the greenhouse building, for rainwater collection.
Will follow your advice to report AND try to pop it back to level on a sunny day (tomorrow is forecast for sun and 84 degrees)
