Cassie L. ;The Banner you posted at 9:04 Has the line ''Exhaust is nearly
pure steam'' , technically this is inaccurate, as our exhaust temps should be
Below 212 degrees F (100 degrees C ) for two important and inter-linked reasons,
1) Our hot exhaust gases should have cooled down to around 150 degrees F at the point that the gases reach the final vertical chimney,
At this point You can only have condensing
water vapor as this is well below the 212 dF Temps that steam can exist !
2) We also get a subtle but rather large
Heat Energy Boostwhen the hot exhaust gases cool below 212dF and we recover ALL of the
Latent Heat of Vaporization !
My vote
wood be to change that phrase to the Exhaust is just Water Vapor and
Carbon Dioxide !
For the Good of the Crafts Big AL !
