I mostly am posting here to share, and just in case it is helpful for someone to be aware I experienced some problems logging back into permies. I was automatically logged out some time ago, but every attempt I made to log back in went nowhere. The passwords I requested never arrived, either in my main email address or my spam folder, despite trying multiple times on different days... until I tried again today! hooray!!

Maybe something was wrong with the password retrieval link system. I saw in the pinned post that if I have trouble with the website, I should contact gir at richsoil.com, but I never received a response from that address, either (maybe my message was blocked by their spam filter?). But in any case, maybe it would help to have an alternative method to reach out for help, specifically with login problems?

Anyway, I'm back (yay!) and this isn't urgent. It is really mostly an FYI to share that there was a problem, in case it would be helpful for someone to know about it. Happy to be back!!

Yahoo told us yours and a few thousand other Yahoo emails were dead and would punish us if we sent you more emails.

This is part of the modern practice of protecting customers from emals.  Yahoo, gmail, and hotmail do this censorship quiet often, but this time took a bit longer to fix than normal.

This should be better now.

But also, it always makes me wonder what other emails we are being protected from.  I know my library system is still stuck in the censorship filter for 5 years.

You can add a secondary email to your permies account with another provider for when this happens again.

There are some email providers out there that treat their customers like adults and don't censor emails.  Protonmail seems to work well and is free.

Welcome back Syd!
I suspect you were caught up in the problems we have been having with yahoo emails (looks like it is fixed now yay!). One work around might be to add a secondary email from a different provider to your account - probably a good back up for everyone I suppose.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
