So the exit hole is a long and narrow slit now. The trick is to tune the thing to your needs, providing back pressure but not too much, just the right amount. What I see you doing in the video is feeding it quite a bit in one go. This didn't trigger a thermal runaway so you fed it a bit more and it still refused to go the wrong way.

I'd suggest to open the exit a bit more, trying different exit openings is what I did endlessly. So what you could do is widen the end hole a bit, so that it would be, say, 110% of the chimney cross section area and see how it behaves then. I'd think the double vortex will be stronger but whether or not the chance on overfueling is bigger remains to be seen.

Oh my! Now this is a stove/firebox that I could see fitting almost anywhere, I'll have to check the dimensions! Thank you so much for sharing it with us...How long a burn do you get from a load?

Hi Nancy, the stove will burn for around one and a half hours from light up to coals but the vortex will only show for about half of that time.
However as we are getting closer to our goals, the stove can be reloaded to keep the display in action…..

Absolutely brilliant! I love it! I admit some of the earlier videos were a bit scary, but it looks like you are taming the dragon now. I'll have to show my husband this last video and make some not too subtle hints.....
