youtube private videos

I am following you now on Vimeo.. but really YT Private should not be that buggy. It is not about having some magic account that may or may NOT work..ANY one with a YT account and an email should be able to view your private video..it is just buggy is all, and always has been, for years actually. I used to use it for clients..but switched to just unlisted. Not sure why YT has never fixed the issue.

Google fumbled on this one. This is soooooo difficult to share private videos, you'd think Microsoft did it! And their official "instructions" on how to do it don't even correspond to what I see on my TouTube screen. Very frustrating!!!

It sounds like it is working flawlessly for everybody on vimeo. If you "follow" me at vimeo that is the easiest thing for me to find you and connect you to the streaming.

No, it just shows up on your profile and let's you watch it.

I can SEE the video cover plate and it has big red private across it. You must have given me access cause once I click on it, it starts to play.
You started following me..but other than that, I do not see any thing special from Vimeo saying I have access.

I also funded with 90$ the rocket mass heater kickstarter for the streaming but didn't get any email for it? I've alredy looked also into all spam these weeks. So finally decided to write here.
Youtube email notification settings seems to be OK, and for sure I'm subscribed to Paul's account . Any ideas?
I've just followed Paul on vimeo. Can I have access to the VODs?

And then there is about 20 more lines after that. I was patient, so I tried for a week, just
to see if it would recover. And it doesn't.
