It works when you rename the file to .torrent, but it looks like it's the same as the rapidshare file (in other words, both work).

You are seeding, Sam is downloading, and I am downloading, but we can't see each other. Vibrant, I'm guessing the issue now has to do with routers/firewalls. Which torrent program are you using to seed? Sometimes this firewall problem can be overcome by making sure you are using UPnP (which helps open specific connections so that outsiders trying to access what you are sharing through bittorrent can "see" you)

I bet I'll be able to connect to you at home, where I can control the router settings, but here at work I'm most likely behind too many firewalls.

It runs but no trackers. I'm willing to setup a tracker if you can tell me how. The server is  slackware linux so a tarball is probably right. I would say upload the file, but I got tired of watching for crackers so upload stuff is turned off Basically the web server and and mail servers work.

Vibrant, are you still seeding the original? I'm only at 22% downloaded

I didn't think it was working so I gave up! I'll let utorrent run all night. Hopefully you can get the entire file.

What ip do you have for a tracker? I don't see any.

The client I was using didn't seem to like it... so I downloaded another... It is working and was able to get the tracker from the original file just fine. I couldn't find any peers for a bit, but have one now, though they have a lot less than 100%... this could take a few days. (it says 5 days and 8 hours actually)

It's a big file so be patient! It's worth the wait. I have my upload speed set as high as possible, so hang in there!

Please leave all of the clients running. I can't see the original source, and am downloading from someone who is just ahead of me by .1%. I will also leave mine seeding for a long time after I have downloaded. (a few weeks maybe?)

I have about 9% now...I'll do my best to stay on as much as possible.  Not sure how to optimize preferences.  I think my upload is set to maximum, but not sure.

The original isn't working anymore, I think the rapidshare torrent is the only one that works now.

I'm at 67.8%... There are 3 systems seeding (finished downloading) and 3 still downloading, but I can only see one of the seeds... And it is not the original. So those who are finished downloading... please leave the torrent running till we all got it

Not sure what happened, but after I got the whole thing downloaded I got an error message and am not sure how to start seeding. If anyone can give me a clue, I'd appreciate it.  Using utorrent.

BTW, there is some awesome stuff in here.

You should start seeding as soon as you have anything downloaded ... That is as soon as you have any parts someone else could download (as soon as you have at least one "chunk"). I don't know for sure if it was you, but I have been doing most of my downloading from a utorrent 2.2 at ip 67.171.62.154 (my client feels it a USA ip). It did disappear for a short while after it hit 100%. I'm at 78% and feeding someone at 30% Who is also downloading from at least one other host... because I am downloading from them as well... though a bit slower.

Hi Everyone,

I was downloading/uploading this at work (shhh ) and when I left Friday afternoon, it was at 30-something %. I left it on overnight, so hopefully it finished downloading, but I ended up remotely shutting down my computer sometime Saturday afternoon. When I get back to work tomorrow, I'll start seeding again (500kbs upload, should help out quite a bit).

According to my client... There is nobody downloading anymore.... and 4 or 5 (not sure if my number includes me or not) seeding. not sure where my client gets this info as it seems to know about more clients than I can see to download from or upload to.... maybe from the tracker? I guess see if anyone starts up again on weekdays. I was going to offer space on my server for http downloads.... but I realize that machine only has a 7.6G drive in it (that was big when I put the machine together.... 100Mhz was fast too) and that is half full.....

Yeah, nobody downloading here either. We should try to put the torrent back on TPB or another site, for other people's enjoyment.

I guess only a small handful of people were interested in this? I'll keep it up for a little while just in case latecomers show up. I'll keep an eye on this board, so if you're reading this 6 months from now and want the files, post a message and I'll start seeding.

Anyone also interested in the videos?

I'm still downloading on and off. Combination of having a 4 year old laptop that I don't like to run for long periods of time, slow internet and being on the other side of the Atlantic to (I imagine) other downloaders/seeders... Taken me 19 hours to download 8%.

I'll just keep downloading for as long as possible
