It's a 70m (about 230 ft.) section of the bike path. They're going to track energy production, maintenance costs etc, with a view to doing larger projects.

There's another thread concerned with this or a very similar product. Gone to look for it.

So, how quickly do you think the woman in that pic would be arrested for child endangerment if she tried that in the US?

I'd like to have that bakfiets, but I don't know what the heck I'd do with it considering the hills around here. I get enough funny looks when I run out of lawnmower gas, strap the 1 gallon can on my Trek's rack and go fill it up at the gas station. OTOH, it's just not worth starting the car to go 5 blocks each way if the weather is good enough to mow in.
