Rocket mass heater in East Slovakia

I live near Sobrance, Slovakia (even closer to Užhorod/Ungvar/Uzghorod/Ужгород, Ukraine/Україна).

Just wanted to throw out there that I've got a working rocket mass heater. Not claiming its perfect-- more a work in progress, making adjustments here and there. Its keeping us warm so far this fall. I'm weighing and keeping records in my calendar of how much wood we burn as well, to try to get an idea of efficiency. We are really pleased how it keeps the room relatively warm even when the fire has been out a day-- not warm enough for my Slovak wife, but nice not to have a freezing cold house when we've been gone all day like our old stove.

But if anyone in this area wants to see one in person before trying to build their own, just PM me and I'd be happy for you to stop by and tell you about it in English or even my shoddy Slovak. And especially tell you what I would do different!

Planning to start construction on a smaller one later this month to heat my office as well.
