I know I come down hard on "technology" quite often, yet being "online writing" folks can't always get a "complete view" of another persons perspectives...

I love this age we live in where much of the "old" is being brought back and revered as it should be, while the "new tech" is "Startrek" close in reality...which I just love.

I have a few friends with 3D printers, and they are without a doubt going to be in every household and I believe, even in remote areas as well. They are going to change manufacturing, as it will be much easier to "own" and send a file to print, than the widget that needs to be replaced.

This little dog is so happy, and upgrading and changing the design can be done in a mater of minutes to hours instead of months and years...

This is good "open source" tech!
