My new book is finished!
With massive publishing help voluntarily offered by Dr. Glenn Littman (Rocket Scientist Apprentice)!

Detailed instructions with pictures on how to construct your own Dragon Technology Designed, Spark-free, six-inch  Batchbox door, with window.
It has been a long time in the planning, with the biggest hold-up being my motivation...
Severely breaking my wrist and not being able to do metal working or welding for the last six months with another six months of further recovery before I MIGHT be able to cut and weld properly has provided the motivation I needed.

I am bringing my PDF to the printers TOMORROW!
As it is a  small local print shop, and it is the middle of what passes for winter this year, they informed me my first copies will take less than two days to finish!   WHOO_HOO!

Watch for an update, I'll post when my new book is ready for sale.

Awesome!  Will you be selling it through the permies digital marketplace?

Hard copy only, for now, Mike.
It is going to be a very nice book. Full-size, Spiral bound, laminated front and back covers, full-color pictures.

I have two more books in the works on basic batchbox construction and basic J-Tube construction.
Both will be smaller shorter books and I will be offering them in a digital format as well as a hard copy.

Will the books be autographed so our heirs can make millions from the autographed first editions?

Why they sure can be!
Of course, as I am right-handed and I broke my right wrist... My autograph is pretty shaky right now.

You can sell physical things through the digital marketplace!  Nicole Alderman sells felted figurines.  I think you can set shipping costs for the US and for "global".  You manage the inventory and shipping but permies is the platform.  Just so you know it's an option.....

When I began my batch rocket education in October and posted my first question to this forum Professor Rubino <PhD = Phire Doctoré> was the first person to reply with an informative and detailed response. He has been such an incredible wealth of information and always responsive that when he told me the situation with his broken wrist, his inability to fabricate doors, and his desire to publish a set of instructions to people wanting to build their own doors I was happy to offer back to him one of my strengths. I spent many years as a project manager for industrial customers and have lots of experience in writing technical documentation. So Tom did all of the hard work and provided the technical details and pictures and I just assembled the document. I is a privilege to be able to assist a guy like Tom who is so giving of his time and knowledge. Thank you Tom for the opportunity!

Stay tuned for my 1st build. My wife and I are really stoked to get what will be the first of probably 4 or 5 different batch rockets for various buildings on our homestead. My goal is to have the first completed within 6 weeks, thanks in large part to the inspiration and information from Tom.

My new book is home from the printers and it looks great!
I brought it in on Tuesday at noon and first thing this morning (Thursday)  they called to say they were ready to be picked up!
That is outstanding service!

Spiral bound so it lays flat and is easy to read.
Laminated front and back covers to protect from abuse.
24 pages of detailed instructions with many photographs.
If you want to know how to build a spark-free batchbox door with a window this is the only book on the market.

The book is priced at $35 with free shipping to the lower 48 states.
I will ship worldwide but I must have your destination to include shipping costs.
The book is $30 plus shipping to the country of your choice.

Email me at dragontech@blackfoot.net  to order.
I can bill via PayPal or I will accept a personal check for those who do not use Paypal.

Hey Rocketeers... I picked up mail today and was super excited to open the big envelope from Dragon Technology and see the 1st edition of the Batchbox Door Building Book. Tom did a great job with his printer to create a heavy duty shop-grade book that will not fall apart while you build your door. Comprehensive materials list, tools list and instructions will make the process of building your door clear and concise.

Great work Tom, thank you! I've got my brickwork immediately ahead of me to complete but my tools and materials are all prepared to then build my door.

Like Glenn, I too am excited to have received my copy of the Batchbox Door Building Instructions book in the mail today.
Unlike the final version however, my copy is a part of the rare collectors edition... bound by a staple, no page numbers and possess a slight sweet smokey scent as you flip through the pages. Nice touch Tom!

I'm very impressed with how much work that has been put into the creation of this door.
Although I admit, it's not a beginners build, Tom has kept the information very concise and with the help of Glenn, organized it in a way that makes each step very understandable and doable.

So once a person has made themselves a door out of these plans, I guess the next logical step is to build a batchbox right? (Or should that have been the other way around)?
Either way, Toms next upcoming book on basic batchbox design and construction (expected to be released in February 2024) should help to fill in the gaps and answer a lot of commonly asked questions that help guide a person to build their own from a thoroughly tested design based on Peter van den Bergs hard work.

Bravo Tom! The DragonTech technical resource library is growing. I understand these fine textbooks will be required reading for anyone looking to get their Rocket Scientist PhD (Phire Doctore).
