Well....the age old non-chemical way to prevent baldness is castration...

However, most guys are not willing to go that far.

1. Get your diet and hormones in line if they aren't.
2. One of the best things is rosemary. Eat it, but shampoo with it, massage your scalp with essential oil (diluted!) or rosemary tea.

Hello,

Of course changing your diet to get your hormone levels right is the primary thing to do to stop hair fall permanently. In the meantime, you can try some herbal remedies as there are many traditional herbs that are actually helpful for preventing hair thinning.

Jojoba, lavender, rosemary and burdock root are some of the hair oil options you have. Additionally, amla, brahmi and aloe vera are some of my favorite remedies. I prepare the hair wash and pack at home myself as the store bought ones are likely to contain some additives and preservatives that I would not want to put on my already damaged hair . I have attached some sources for your help. Hope this helps

Then there is always the question of why it matters. Consider:

1. Less to cut.
2. Less to manage and clean.

I've always considered myself cursed with hair that won't quit. I dream of the day that I no longer have to cut and maintain it, but I fear I may be taking it to the grave with me. I keep my hair very short (#1 blade) just so it's out of the way at least for another month. Trust me, if one day I found myself thinning, I would definitely not be looking for a "cure".
