Curious About "Earth Almonds", (Chufa Cyperus), anyone tried them? I read that they were once cultivated in the south? Are they a native plant or imported?
I tried too but mine died the first winter.I know they are super agressive in the right place under the right cultivation practices as they are listed as a major invasive in potato fields somewhere in WA state.
There is nothing permanent in a culture dependent on such temporaries as civilization.
Thanks for your replies! Humm, a major invasive in potato fields somewhere in WA state", I had no idea.
I was thinking that I wanted to give them a try here in Montana, I wondered if the cold winters might be too much for them & if it might be just too dry here?
Shake it tiny ad! Shake it!
