Visiting The Lab: carpooling, group travel thread

I want to go to The Lab and do awesome stuff, post pics and vids here about it, and maybe even stay on if everything goes well and i have lots of ideas for workshops that i would like to host.

I live in SE Ohio. To come by plane would require ~$800 one way plus i am highly limited on what i can bring with me.
Going by Amtrak train would require ~$300 one way. I would be able to bring a decent amount of stuff packed with me but limited to what i want to watch and haul constantly for two full days during travel, on train and layovers.

I have stuff. Stuff that is productive to the goals on The Lab as well as my hobbies/future on-site income.

I do not have a vehicle. I would be willing to put in more than my share of the ride costs since i likely would have the most stuff. Not heavy stuff just space-taking-up stuff. Totes of fibers and yarn and crafts and tools. Large cages i made myself that will be perfect to work into other projects that go along with things Paul has talked about.

Anyone wanting to find out about others who are also looking to carpool/etc to The Lab please post here!

I am prepared to visit by train and just bring the "i can drag this amount of stuff for two days to get there". I would much prefer to find something riding with someone so that i can bring at least some other stuff. Like a 2qt dutch oven, real big heavy dutch oven, cookin tripod,... stuff that i really dont know i could bring by train due to size/weight. Mostly weight but a few things are just too long and not able to break down.

ETA: $250 for amtrak ticket to whitefish, MT. $32 greyhound ticket whitefish to missoula.

As of right now I will be visiting The Labs starting June 25. Anyone wanting to send things etc can PM me here on the forums.
Anyone interested in traveling together Amtrak is pretty good price honestly for the long distance. I have a small chance of buying a vehicle and could be driving out. If anyone is interested in carpooling along the way from SE Ohio to The Labs I am still open to the idea.

You can send things freight freaky cheaply across country, especially if you ship from one loading dock to another (you can drop off and pick up from the shipping stations for the cheapest price). I sent 150 lbs of tools from Montana to Vermont for under $200 and that was having it delivered to a friends business which increased the price.
