As I was reading one of the articles on chickens I though would it be possible, convenient, functional or efficient to build a chicken coop with a rocket mass heater? has anyone tried it? I would apretiate information, not assumptions. I know there will be some that think it is a bad idea, if those have actually done it or have seen first hand one being done, I want to hear all bout it.
thanks everyone!

What problem is this solving? Chickens do quite alright in cold weather... especially if you have well adapted breeds.

I dont see why heating a coop with a rmh would not work, if it were needed in the climate.

It would need to be a pretty extremely cold climate to warrant such a large heater. Like michael cox said, chickens do fine in the cold.

Not really solving any problem I was just wondering if it would be benefitial that's all. I am at 3600 feet of altitude. It was just an idea and I wanted to know if someone has done it before. I also read that chickens do quite well in the winter with no heating systems. So again I just wanted to know if someone has trided before that's all thanks for your input.
