Hi all-
I get a csrf error page (https://permies.com/templates/csrf.html) when clicking on the Rove Beetles link (https://permies.com/forums/permaculture-forums/7246_0/critter-care/rove-beetle) in the thread for discussion of podcast 75 (https://permies.com/t/24920/permaculture-podcast/Podcast-Review-Gaia-Garden-Chapter) which Cassie just sent out today in the dailyish email. This link appeared in the email as (https://permies.com/t/24920/).

I think that this is caused by number 2. The date is 2015/05/12 at 12:14am central time.

I'm using Firefox version 37.0.2 on Ubuntu 14.04. Please let me know if you need more information in tracking down this bug or if you want me to test something.

--matt

P.S. Tried it on Chromium Version 41.0.2272.76 Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit), but didn't get the CSRF page. Instead, the Rove beetles link took me to the forums webpage (https://permies.com/forums). Hope that helps.

I get it too.

I'm passing this on to our CSRF expert.

Hmm. That's weird. I'm not getting any error at all for any of the links. Is it all the links that aren't working for you? Or just one or two?

yeah that is because that link is old and weird..

Devaka said this:

"The problem is with the "/permaculture-forums" part. The post rendering part of the forum software doesn't recognize this this part, so it tries to 'fix' it by adding a /forums suffix. Which means "www.permies.com/permaculture-forums" gets 'fixed' as "www.permies.com/forums/permaculture-forums", which breaks things down.

I've never seen a permies URL with /permaculture-forums format before - maybe it was an old URL format? "

so I just fixed all the links in that summary.

It is an old format. And we need to the old stuff to properly map over to the new stuff.

Yeah I think devaka is doing something to fix that for the future.
