I just had to share this with my fellow permies:

http://www.amazon.com/Compost-Everything-Guide-Extreme-Composting-ebook/dp/B00XIROFMQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431996954&sr=8-1&keywords=compost+everything

The book went straight to the top of Amazon's gardening section when the publisher released it last week - I couldn't believe it. Guess a lot of folks are interested in making their own fish emulsion, composting meat, etc. I love to see people reusing all that they can rather than consigning soil fertility to the waste stream.

A lot of it covers materials that I've discussed with you guys over here, including the "Melon Pits" thread:

https://permies.com/t/21092/hugelkultur/Melon-Pits-work

It not only works, it works well!

Thank you all for the encouragement and camaraderie over the years. Dunno where we'd all be without Paul pulling us together.

We'd probably all be lost in our own little food forests... sad because there was no one else to talk about moon-planted Siberian pea-tree guilds over inverted biochar-packed hugelkultur mounds.

Thank you.

At the moment, yes. My publisher wanted to release to a wide audience at a low price point, hence the cost of only $2.99 for the Kindle version. I've been informed that a paper version will be coming soon after the introductory period on Kindle.
