Hi People,

I am looking at buying a house south of Belfair with 4+ treed acres in back. I don't really know my stuff but I do see there's a bit of slope and I can't tell at this time of year if there might be drainage issues if I wanted to clear some trees and grow some food. If anyone knows some local expert could take a look and advise about what might be possible there that would really help me decide on it. Thanks for any help!

Hi N. Tropic!

You can find local permaculture people by visiting the Permaculture Global Map.

If you have pictures of the property or know where it is on Google Maps, we, on permies.com, can discuss with you what the pros and cons of the property/site might be.

Every site is unique and comes with its own challenges.

Thanks so much Dave. I apologize--I don't have images of good enough quality at the moment. (Also don't know if I should post the Google info to the world.) Sorry to be hard to help! I will try to get better visuals asap.
