Hey guys,

New to the forums... very glad to be here.

I'm currently building a 30x90 aquaponic greenhouse, with a massive water reservoir heat sink beneath it (in my plans).

I'm wondering if you guys could possibly recommend the absolute most up to date book on building rocket mass heaters.

I have a basic understanding of how these things work, and I also have some ideas with respect to pulling even more heat from the exhaust. However, I'd like to really school myself and build on the most recent ideas of others.

If you happen to have a recommendation on this, I would really appreciate it! Thank you so much for your time and help.

That's a great question. As far as I know this will be the most complete and up to date DIY RHM builders book:

http://www.permies.com/t/40545/rocket-stoves/Rocket-Mass-Heater-Builder-Guide

And if you're starting your build before the hard copy version of the book is out, then you might consider purchasing a draft copy in PDF form, details here:

EDIT: the rough draft purchasing link appears to have been moved/removed? Perhaps someone will post the latest link, assuming the rough draft is still available.

Hmm... I wasn't able to pull a 'buy' link out of either of those.

You might drop them an e-mail inquiry, contact details available on their site here:

EDIT: and for the library of any first time rocket mass heater builder, this book is a must have:
