I suggest using this
thread as a way of posting workshops, classes, seminars, etc. that people may be interested in taking. I'll go first.
I do nonprofit fundraising and found the following
class through the University of Montana to be the most beneficial. (I took several through their Professional Nonprofit Administration Program.) It's coming up again...
To many, nonprofit professionals and others,
strategic planning is a scary and mysterious concept, but it doesn't have to be. De-mystify the process and help your nonprofit tackle the future coherently by participating in this
course, offered as part of the
University of Montana's Online Professional Certificate Program in Nonprofit Administration, developed in partnership with the Montana Nonprofit Association. This course highlights the importance of leadership for realizing an organization's fullest potential. It also introduces strategic planning--a process by which staff members can bring their shared vision of success into being. The reading assignments are designed to increase knowledge of strategic planning and leadership, and the writing assignments are designed to build personal skill and confidence by asking you to draft a brief strategic plan.
