Can anyone tell me about growing quince? I am considering growing them from seeds. Is this likely to produce tasty quince or are they likely to be 'cider' quince like apples would be?

I went searching for you here at permies and on google found quince Comes up a lot here . https://permies.com/forums/jforum?module=search&action=search&forum_id=-1&search_keywords=quince&match_type=all&search_in=ALL&forum=&sort_by=time&sort_dir=DESC&search_date=ALL&member_number=&member_first_name=&member_last_name=&member_match_type=memberPosted

For the Google.com search, put "
tasty quince
" in the search box.

On the permies search there are growing ideas for cold climates and seed sources and how to unleash the secret flavor of the fruit.
