So this one caught my attention!!! A solar flare strikes the earth and an Electro-Magnetic Pulse Event E.M.P. fries our Electrical Grid and by ''Our Grid ''

I mean the planet! AND all those satellites out there in space - If this Event ever happens even over a very small area there will be a lot of planes falling

out of the skies !

The truly amazing thing about this is that 60+years after the worlds militaries became aware of it and developed their own bombs to duplicate this effect- - -

Clever minds are actually doing something about it !

In this short audio link, 7:00-ish minutes, you get an introduction to One specific Survivalist Library survivalistlibrary.com and their work to make sure

that incase of a World wide E.M.P. event the Whole World does not slide back into the ''dark ages '' //// See link below :

and a link directly to survivor library :

Once upon time there was a gristly ''Survivalists'' Joke that in order to survive the aftermath of W.W. 111 the best thing was to move into the middle of a clan of

Mormons ! Today this technique if successful would only mean you would live long enough to get to the really hard times !

Just my two cents ! For the Survival of the Crafts, All the Crafts ! Big AL

I had a Mormon boss and talked to him about their preparations, he made a really good point that has stuck with me. He said that you prepare for a bad situation but that situation may not be world wide or even city wide, you might just be prepared for a personal or family issue. It struck me as profound that nowadays we prepare for the end of everything but we don't prepare for loosing a job, or feeding our families while we recover from major injury....it brings life into focus when you consider that you may need six months of preparations for a broken hip, shattered femur, or major infection.

I wouldn't consider myself a prepped or survivalist, but I did grow up with no running water or electricity, so I like to think I have a good leg up, as well as being in the 2nd largest old order Amish settlement in PA.

Yes , I thought this would be a sleeper! I did find that a Google search here in Permies returned 88 hits in 0.1 seconds !

It is also important to note that all of the G.E. Built Reactors in the U.S and the World ( Fuki-Shima !!! ) need outside power if they need to shutdown NOW

-And Every single one of them requires the input of a great amount of start up energy to restart after shutting down - Literally they all need an intact grid

With spare megawatts of power to restart !

just my 2 cents Big AL

That is where the hydro dams come in. They supply the power to start the coal and gas plants up. And yes we are very vulnerable to solar flares! And hackers!

Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he's dead, that tiny ad sure bled
