Hi!

We have built a rocket stove mass heater at our permaproject this fall and are now looking to make a nice finish on the cob structure, to make it more waterproof, less dusty and durable.
Does anyone have expierience or good iedas to make a finish layer with natural rescourses?

I heard about linseedoil for earthern floors but haven't seen it been used on heated surfaces.

Thanks in advance!

greets,
Josse

Hi Ben,

I very much like this heater you have made.  I may have to borrow some ideas from you fren.  I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions.
Does it run well?
Did you use a bell system for the bench, or is it pipe in cob?
