Did anyone here set up a Permies Twitter?

Hey guys - we're trying to get an official Permies Twitter account going, but it looks like our handle has already been set up by someone, then abandoned a few years ago. When we try to recover the password for the account, the email address it links to is something like jo***@gmail.com

I'm not sure how many other characters are actually in the address, but it starts with Jo, so is there maybe a John or Josh here somewhere that set this up and forgot about it? We'd love to get access to the handle @permies, but can't do it unless whoever has that account can step forward and help us out.

Otherwise, we have to choose another handle

Okay guys, this one is going out in the new dailyish, but in case we don't track down who created this mysteries @permies twitter account, does anyone have any suggestions for a snazzy new Twitter handle?

Its a bummer when your name or idea is already used.

you might try reporting the account - I'm not sure anything will come of it but it could end in the account being terminated, and the handle being awarded to youz.

although I doubt the intentions of the creator of said account were malicious the following (copied from the report violations page) could serve to have the account shut down.

Not a dumb question at all! I didn't set it up, though it's possible that the ownership might have been transferred to me. I'm checking notes and such. More later...

Okay, I tried requesting a password retrieval email and nothing came to my email. So I don't think my email is associated with that account.

Josh P. also has a gmail account that starts with "jo" though he also tried to access the account and was unable to.

I did not try the link that says "what if I didn't receive an email" (or something like that) though I think that would be far fetched any way.

The only other thoughts I had were whether someone else in one of these threads might have created it:

Unfortunately, those were both dead ends.
