this is surely posted somewhere here already...new to me though
I saw "use Wheaton's Law" at the preface of a facebook page for new folks...my first thought was 'Paul's that famous...they mean 'be nice'' !
I had to look for it, and found that the reference was to Will Wheaton (Wesley from Star Trek)
His version is 'Don't be a dick'.....pretty much the same thing
