Hi
I'm stuck in Scotland for the summer, but I'm escaping in September.
I would love to know if there's any wwoofing available in California over the winter (it's still warm then, right?).
Or if anyone knows of any wwoofs happening over winter in any warm place. I'll happily go anywhere, so long as it's warm.
Thanks much.

I should mention that I'm not yet a wwoof member for the US. I know they have a directory but I didn't want to join (and spend) without knowing if there's any winter opportunities available.

I am also seeking the exact same thing! I'm a permie from Ireland, seeking Winter Woofffing opportunities in California or somewhere nearby, but finding it hard to find anything online! Would love to hear some suggestions:)

Have you looked at the Wwoofusa.org site?   I am sure there are farms available in warmer areas such as California and southern states in the wintertime.
I'm in  KY and don't have a greenhouse, so don't start accepting Wwoofers until April.

There is also an opportunity to learn permaculture through a little hard work:

We have wwoof'ers here year around. Always lots to do. Milking the cows, clearing fields and building fences (both of which are much easier when the leaves are off the bushes/trees, and when the ground is softer), some garden fertility work, general animal care. And much attention to drinking tea and musing on the great issues of the day.

~~You know, if you are wwoof'ing to learn about farming, then you should consider wwoof'ing in some less hot places. Farming is a year around occupation. If you wwoof just for fun or a vacation, then I suppose the left coast and Hawaii are fine for that, (although I personally can't imagine why).
