I like it. Another quote I like is whenever you deal with a person Assume that you're dealing with someone who is going through a very hard time, most of the time you'l be right.

In my own experience I have discovered this moral principle holds true in all of my real world face to face personal interactions with others:

People treat me exactly as decent as I am,
and even if they are not,
they treat me as if they were.

--Greg

It is my own personal responsibility to set the moral tone in my interactions with the world... and the world graciously acquiesces.

I have noticed that I tend to act more aggressively/angrily when I am disappointed, grieving, resentful, etc. - subconsciously it's a cry for attention/comfort, but my primal mind doesn't realize that most strangers can't pick up on these subtleties, and they just think that I'm a jerk.

I'm working on it

It can also help to accept that we have very little control over the world/other people but we have a great deal of control over how we react/respond to the world/other people.

"Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it." - Charles Swindoll (according to the internet...)
