I've been searching and searching for a good online earthworks or social Permaculture course or atleast a good set of dvds in these topics. I plan on getting Paul wheaton videos this week but was wondering if there is a different set of videos that would be available such as geoff lawtons videos on earthworks.
Any help in finding these kinds of videos would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Richard,
I got all info I needed from Geoff Lawton's online PDC, which included videos of his earthworks course as a bonus. Additional information I got from Lancaster's book 'water harvesting for drylands and beyond' of which volume 2 is the most practical.

I added 3 flags to this topic to help getting some more attention.

I am here to reply because the 48 hour rule was invoked.

So, first .... I taught an earthworks course that was recorded, and then we taught the exact same course again, and that was also recorded. The results of the editing of all that is in the 3-DVD set "world domination gardening." Geoff Lawton also makes an appearance.

Geoff has some stuff that was part of the online pdc ... not sure if it was ever available for individual purchase. I think some of his other dvds touch on this, but I cannot remember which ones. I think one of his older free videos might have had a wee bit also.

I know I have heard of earthworks courses being taught from time to time. But I don't know of one coming up.

Currently, Janet has been getting a lot of courses set up here - I suppose you could ask her to set something up. I do know that earthworks happens here quite regularly. I think if a gapper were here and wanted to build earthworks experiences it would happen to some degree.

This probably is not the best answer, but it is all that I have in my head right now.

Thanks for the reply Paul I just bought your combo of world domination gardening and wood burning stoves 2.0 off of richsoils.com Friday. I'm loving them so far but my understanding is that Geoff Lawton earthworks course is suppose to be super in-depth and I can't afford to leave and go to any in person courses as much as I would love to, so that is why I'm looking for as much online as I can.

Also I've looked and looked for Geoffs earthworks course on the internet and the closest I have gotten looked like a video introduction to the students taking the course.

Also once again I want to thank everyone who has and will be posting for their help.

Not sure if this would fit in to what you are looking for but I enjoyed Darren Doherty's series on youtube.

He also has a lot of other stuff of interest.

I would love to watch Geoff Lawtons course but I can't find it anywhere. I'm guessing it was only available to persons who had taken his online PDC.
