Email notifications of posts

It used to be that I would receive fairly regular notices of posts in threads I had posted in.

Now it seems that I receive notices of my own posts, instead of those. Oddly enough, I know about my own posts and do not need to receive email notifications about them.

Have you had a look in your "my profile" to see how it's set up?  You can change your settings on how you receive notification of new posts.

Thing is, I didn't change them, but, they changed...

The actual settings have changed? Or just how they act?
