The keyboard shortcuts on PC are as follows once you login:
alt+(left arrow key) : That will bring you back one page. Do that until you get back to the thread you want to respond to.
Once there, press F5 to refresh the page and you'll see that you are now able to press the reply button.
So in my case, I find a thread to respond to (this one in this case) and then press login, fill in the name/password fields, press enter. Once logged in I hold ALT and then press the left arrow twice to get back to the thread. Then press F5 to refresh so that now the page shows that I'm logged in.
And then I reply
I admit that having to login like this is a bit of a pain in the ass. For a while I wasn't replying to as much stuff because it was just too much clicking around to get back to where I started. Once I got the shortcuts figured out and I was able to stay logged in for more than twenty minutes without being auto-logged out (timed-out), I started being more active here again. It would be nice to get this little bug fixed though. Unless it's a feature for some reason that I'm not aware of.
