fysh - farmstead yield standard hour

One fysh is the same as one person doing some low skill stuff for one hour.  

Some people might come to an agreement that a person with more skill might get more than one fysh per hour.   It doesn't bother me.  

For me, I might be willing to offer the following for fysh:

- ant plots
- deep roots plots
- renting one of our rigs
- the sepper program
- renting the excavator, tractor, trailers, shop, tools, etc.
- advertising on the empire
- dvds, cards, moichendize
- workshop/pdc tickets
- access to the fisher price house
- other stuff we have plenty of or might have plenty of in the future


Jocelyn and I have been talking about fysh trading for weeks now.  And some people have already said that they would like to start building a fysh tally with me. And then there was the thought that somebody might have a bunch of fysh and they make an arrangement with somebody else to transfer one fysh in my books.  And that started sounding like a lot of work to track.  And jocelyn would be doing the tracking, but ...  she isn't getting anything for all this, so ...   for our internal fysh tracking, we came up with a system where April 1 would be "fysh juggling day" and she would be happy to move fysh around on the books as much as people want for no charge.  Any other time and it would be 10 fysh.  

One of our residents asked if they would still have to do the dastardly task of invoicing for fysh. I said I don't think so.

We'd still like e-mails to document fysh earned and fysh used, though we can skip the formality of an invoice.

The first thing that popped into my head was a fancy permies copper coin.  
Mainly because it could, potentially, fund itself by selling to the permies community and it removes centralized accounting. Maybe a fysh fiefdom for someone.

Bonus... it would be really funny to give or receive a sack of 100 fysh.

To me all this sounds a lot like a Time Bank. You should easily find some software to handle the exchanges without effort. Ideally, like in the time bank I am part of, people doing the exchanges could register the transfers by themselves.

I quickly skimmed through that list, thank you Pau!

Though I think we'll keep track on our own for right now for the following reasons:
(a) our own tracking spreadsheets are free and customizable
(b) we are not required to join larger time bank communities (as it seems it might be required for some of the free software options in the link above)
(c) our stuff will remain free and accessible by us - some free platforms go under, change their pricing, etc.

If, down the road, our simple tracking gets overly cumbersome, we might revisit this list, and/or other options so it's good to have some resources at hand!
