Hello!

we're looking for someone to volunteer some daily work (4+ hours) in exchange for basic accommodations and food. Wwoofer style but cooler...
we're on 7 acres very close to Asheville center, lots to do here including, but not limited to growing food, landscaping, permaculture practices, experience is a good thing...

Please call or write. Let us know what are your passions.
Best,
Steve

My partner and I are planning to travel in North Carolina this upcoming Spring in search of homesteading experience and permaculture teachers. I'd love to hear more about your property and projects you might be seeking help with. My partner is a carpenter's assistant and has experience building. I work on an organic vegetable farm and also have a small amount of experience with natural building / cob. We hope to travel in the style of WWOOF, but without the membership fee and more geared towards permaculture opportunities. We want to work in exchange for food and hopefully housing, but we are also open to tent camping. Could you post a little more about your land and your vision?

I am a single 51 year old woman with a dog. I have spent the last two years working for small farms in the midwest.
I am in the process of building a shuttle bus into my permanent house. I haven't ever lived in Nashville but I have been through the area. If I could park my bus there and work on it when I am not helping you this may be a good, arrangement.
I have a lifetime of farming. Gardening and homesteading experience.

Sincerely,
Vicki

Hi Steve,

I've just recently become a wwoof member and am looking for a volunteer opportunity in the Asheville area. The second week of July is when I am aiming at arriving at a host location. I'd be happy to connect with you and discuss your needs.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Everybody's invited. Except this tiny ad:
