Hello and welcome to you both!

Tanya, I've requested that your post be added to our WWOOF/Organic Farm Volunteers/Interns forum.
I wish you both lots of luck in your search. There's usually lots of opportunities offered here. In the meantime, stick around and enjoy all this site has to offer.

If you would like to introduce yourself, we have an Introductions page. That's totally optional. Hope to see you both around the forums!

I've included your post in that forum.

You might also want to post in the appropriate regional forum, for folks looking to connect in your area.
Seems like folks from Kentucky are posting in the "Midwest, USA" forum.  You might even see an opportunity you like there.
