This cheerful one by Kate Rusby seems fitting as May rolls in.

Right now I’m listening to Matthew Byrne, a singer/songwriter from Newfoundland.  Here is his song, ‘Adelaide’, a beautifully told tale of the comfort of closure as we navigate this life.  Celtic/acoustic/folk

So, for the last three years I've been really digging into the whole indie folk/Americana/bluegrass scene and have discovered (for me) some really wonderful bands: Horse Feathers, Head and the Heart, The Staves, Sean Rowe, The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, Nickle Creek, Greensky Bluegrass, etc. But for the last week, I've been listening, almost exclusively to Elephant Revival. I'm so smitten with this band's sound.  Let me put it this way to see if you may like them ... if you like the background music for the TV series Firefly, you'll LOVE Elephant Revival.  Here are a few links to some of their videos to see for yourself.  Oh, and they are also brave enough to cover some big hits ..

This is a mellow song from them: https://youtu.be/bBSMe_bmJto

This is more traditional Americana/bluegrass: https://youtu.be/KCYUDBYpv0g

Their cover of "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane: https://youtu.be/MarQVlEAmBA

Their cover of Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar": https://youtu.be/L0gnM9h-hjs

Enjoy!
