Hard boiled eggs

I did try our search option. It's late, my eyes are buggy. Hard boiled eggs.  I remember Easter at my grandmothers house. They were everywhere and seemed never to go away. How long does a hard boiled egg last ( safe for human consumption ) in the fall weather ?  I remember these things being around and eaten for days when the weather was cool. They would be in a bowl at my grandmothers house for quite a bit. On the counter ?   Larry

We used to do that too. I wouldn't try more than a few hours old now, at least not with eggs I didn't raise myself.
