It's only March, and we are well on our way!
We are very excited about this year's Convergence, with our theme being From the Ground Up!
It will be held at Camp Singing Wind, Toledo, Lewis County, WA during the last weekend in September. We are looking for volunteers and coordinators, as well as presenters and vendors. Please check out our new and improved website, www.northwestpermaculture.org for all the latest on the Convergence, and for contact information.
Camp Singing Wind is a former Girl Scout camp, now home to a small permaculture community that is stewarding the 185 acres. It's an amazing, lovely, welcoming site, with a capacity of 350 people - and it's got more of a family-friendly vibe than any other Convergence venue in recent history. Also lots of space for hands-on learning and broadacre strategies! As a volunteer or coordinator, you'll have strong support from our non-profit board, as well as all kinds of encouragement from me, Laura Sweany - this year's event coordinator. Let's make 2018's Convergence one for the record books!
