How do I fix these garden clogs?

They have a big crack in the top but otherwise, have several months worth of use in them.

If you aren't using them in near freezing temperatures then Gorilla tape will work (it'll stop sticking as the temperature drops).

If you want something a little more refined than duct tape, there is product out there called "Freesole" by Gear Aid.

I've used it to reattach soles on work boots and hiking boots. It's pretty awesome, but you have to follow the directions and it needs to cure for a long time; especially for heavy application (it could take a week or more).

Since the crack is at the stress point on the clog as you take them on and off, the Freesole may not even hold up. In which case the lame-sounding Gorilla tape fix might be the better one.

Duct tape... possible.  Will it stand up to gardening and mucking out the animals?

Random idea, do you think it's possible to somehow cut the shoe down and make a new shoe from it?  Can't quite visualize how this will work.  

Burn/drill 4 little holes and use something like a lace to gently tie it up.

Or use a stapler on it.

I'd also burn a hole at the end of the tear. It might keep it from spreading.

If it is the light, foamy type of plastic, a heat gun or even a hot hair dryer might be used to fuse the cut. It works with crocs, but i don't know if it will hold under stress.

Would Sugru work on this?
