The burnt log worm cure

On April 10th I brought home this years piglets. All were happy and seemed  healthy.  About 5 days ago I noticed that meanie was not getting a big fat belly like eenny was. Also noticed meanie had a slight cough , not much but enough for me to think worms...  The other 2 are fine no cough and growing into little porkers.  I was told all had their shot before I got them and they have been receiving diamatetious earth in their feed since they came home.  
Time for an old farmers trick...  A partially burnt fence post ...   toss it in with the piggy's  and all three, but mostly meanie tore into it... by that afternoon it was gone.  Tossed in another one and nobody was interested. Seems they knew what they needed and got it from the first log.
5 days later and meanie is growing a belly ... porking up like her sisters.  The second burnt log piece is still laying there , apparently they don't need it anymore. And no more cough!
There are more ways to cure a piggy than pharmaceuticals .

Yes, they gobble up the char. This is the second time I have used this trick.  The old boy that told me said to keep giving them charred wood until they didn't eat it any more.  Worked like magic last time and appears to be doing the same this time.
