Tea, or sprinkles, or decoration because they have a very mild flavor, but lots of color.

why are your ice cubes blue?  Is this the color just from the purple petal?

Ha! I didn't think of how that picture could be interpreted.  It's a silicone bottom ice cube tray that's white and blue.  I went to silicone after last spring's battle trying to get frozen basil out of a plastic one.
